“Liturgy” is one of those church-y words that often causes us to roll our eyes and retreat into whatever other thoughts might be occupying our minds when we hear it. But the word “liturgy” itself simply means “the work of the people.” So whatever we do, when we do it together in the context of community, is our liturgy.
