Poet-priest, songwriter, and author Malcom Guite calls the apostle Thomas (who we often call “Doubting Thomas“) the father of our faith.
If that’s true, it seems that somehow doubt is not opposed to faith, but integral to it.
This week at New Wineskins, we’ll continue our Easter Season series on Reimagining Resurrection by listening to Guite talk about Thomas and why his encounter with the resurrected Jesus is foundational to our own faith experiences (and why we’d all probably like to have a glass of whiskey with Thomas!)
Join us this Sunday, April 25, in our New Wineskins Virtual Theology Pub for a conversation about doubt, faith, and resurrection and what those things all mean for people in spiritual exile.
6:00pm (EDT): Happy Half-Hour (informal social time)
6:30pm: Presentation and conversation
