May 2 Gathering: Reclaiming Gratitude

Reimagining Resurrection: An Easter Season for Spiritual Exiles Week 3

What’s the difference in having gratitude IN all things instead of FOR all things?

It seems like a small nuance in language, but author and public theologian Diana Butler Bass says in this week’s video from The Work of the People that one leads to living in the natural flow of grace, while the other can set us up for the dis-ease of centering material prosperity as the target of our gratitude.

This Sunday we continue our Easter Season for Spiritual Exiles, “Reimagining Resurrection,” by reclaiming gratitude as a way of experiencing a faith based in trusting the abundance of divine love as the core of reality.

Join us Sunday, May 2, in the New Wineskins Virtual Theology Pub to be part of the conversation!

6:00pm (EDT) – Happy Half Hour (informal social time)
6:30pm – Presentation and Conversation
