Between a global pandemic, a toxic political atmosphere, rising racial tensions, and economic uncertainty, to say we’re living in difficult times is an understatement.
So how do we get through it? How do we persevere in the face of so much negativity and outright danger?
How do we not just survive in this time, but find a way to thrive?
This week at New Wineskins, we’ll have some open dialogue about how we can remain courageous in the midst of our shared struggles. We’ll talk about how we can look beyond the simplistic platitudes of religion to find the strength we need to carry on and move forward despite feeling overwhelmed.
Of course, there are no easy answers. But perhaps in sharing our questions and our vulnerabilities, we can find sources of courage within our community.
Join us this Sunday, Aug. 30, in our New Wineskins Virtual Pub for a frank and honest dialogue about how we can persevere through difficult times.
Happy half-hour Zoom connection opens at 6:00pm
