Few theological topics generate more controversy than the idea of “salvation.” What does it mean to be “saved?” Who can be “saved?” Are there those who won’t be, and if so, who are they and why? Does God preordain salvation, or do we have freedom to choose? What is God’s will, and does it make any difference?
This week at New Wineskins, our good friend and charter member Fr. Steve Peck, CUC, will present three theological positions regarding salvation, and invite us to select those with which we most closely identify. We’ll have the opportunity to examine apparent conflicts between the positions and talk about why we believe what we believe.
Only one rule will be in place: nobody is allowed to call anyone else “wrong.”
