In the wake of this week’s election results, many of us are rightly wondering how we got here…and what we should do now.
Sanctimonious memes and bumper sticker theology won’t get us through this moment. It is a time for lament, for acknowledging our shared and collective pain. But it must also be a time for resolve.
Change always happens over time, not overnight. And so we must start the journey at the beginning.
This week at New Wineskins, we’ll view a video from YouTube content creators Reflections of Life featuring Native artist L. Frank talking about the importance of “re-membering” our shared stories and recapturing our shared sense of humanity.
Please join us this Sunday, Nov. 10, in the New Wineskins Virtual Theology Pub powered by Zoom as we grieve together as needed and turn our focus toward the hard and subversive work of resistance.
