(Wisdom Series Week 7)
What defines who we are?
Many of us find our identities in our circumstances…our families of origin, our location in the world, our vocational pursuits, or our physical abilities. For others our sense of identity comes from who the world tells us we are.
For a question that seems on the surface to be so simple, “Who am I?” can often be one of the most difficult things for us to answer.
This Sunday at New Wineskins we’re extending series on Wisdom as we continue to engage with YouTube content creators Reflections of Life in a conversation about how we can truly know who we really are.
This week’s discussion video invites us to consider the ways we define identity, the barriers to knowing ourselves well, and the roles of vulnerability and community in discovering what it is that defines us.
Please join us this Sunday, Oct 13, in the New Wineskins Virtual Theology Pub powered by Zoom for a discussion on the keys to knowing our own identities.
6:00pm ET: Happy Half-Hour (informal meet & greet time)
6:30pm ET: Presentation & conversation begin
