May 11 gathering: In search of the Common Good

One of the things that a lot of us have been noticing during our time of pandemic lock-down is the hopeful trend toward people being more caring, more compassionate, and, in general, more neighborly.

But at the same time we’re also seeing armed protesters on statehouse steps, the rapid spread of conspiracy theories, and inconsistent leadership at national, state, and local levels as to how to re-open our economy.

And it seems we might be living in a time when that tension is going to have to break one way or the other.

The question is, will we break toward the common good, or will we dig back into our entrenched hyper-individualism?

Join us Monday, May 11, for a conversation about how we might come out of pandemic with a renewed sense of the common good and how we can move forward with a better vision for society.

Connection opens at 6:00pm
Conversation begins at 6:30pm.
