Without question, most of our Easter traditions have been upended this year.
For many of us, fancy church services were replaced by streaming videos of pastors and maybe a musician or two preaching into a camera from an empty building or an office desk.
Instead of lavish family dinners, we ate more intimate meals. Perhaps we joined distant relatives by FaceTime or Zoom to give us the illusion of being together.
But in this strange time of social distancing and protecting ourselves from an invisible enemy with very visible consequences, maybe this Easter can teach us something we’ve been missing. Perhaps something we very much need to learn.
Join us online via Zoom Monday, April 13, as we explore what a messy Easter may have to show us.
