Nov. 12 Gathering: Contextualizng Enemy Love with Josh Scott

Loving Enemies Series Week 6

It’s easy to acknowledge how difficult it can be to love our enemies. Even when we put forth the effort, it can be complicated and messy at best.

You know who else found it complicated and messy? The first people who heard Jesus say “Love your enemies as yourself.”

Please join us this Sunday, Nov. 12 for Week 6 of our Loving Enemies series as pastor and author Josh Scott makes a return appearance to the New Wineskins Virtual Theology Pub powered by Zoom! Josh will help us consider the context for how Jesus’ first followers might have heard and understood the concept of enemy love, and how we can recontextualize it for our time and place in the human drama.

6:00pm ET: Happy Half-Hour (informal meet & greet time)
6:30pm ET: Presentation & conversation begin
