March 9 Gathering: Embodied Spirituality

Western Christianity has long seen the physical and the spiritual as two separate realms (probably largely due to a misreading of Paul’s letters and the influences of Greco-Roman dualism).

But more and more, we are learning that embodiment is actually critical to a fully holistic spirituality.

So how did a faith tradition based on incarnation lose its sense of embodiment? And what can we do to regain it?

Join us Monday, March 9, for our next Gathering in the Side Room of the Marietta Brewing Company for what promises to be an interesting dialogue about the physicality of our faith.

Happy half-hour: 6:00pm
Conversation starts: 6:30pm
