Nov. 24 Gathering: Gratitude Prompts

Recent studies have shown that acknowledging and expressing gratitude not only makes you feel better emotionally, but might also have actual physical benefits.

So with Thanksgiving coming up next week, we thought we’d give ourselves a little boost with a fun and creative way to express our gratitude.

While our gatherings are always conversational and interactive, this Sunday we’re going to kick it up a notch with an activity called “gratitude prompts.” We’ll read a sentence about something we might be grateful for, and give everyone a chance to fill in a blank or finish the sentence with a specific reason to be grateful for that thing.

For instance, the prompt might be something like, “One way I have bettered myself in the past month is. . .” or, “My favorite adventure/vacation was __________ because. . .”

You won’t want to miss this great chance to spread a little Thanksgiving love, learn more about your friends, and hopefully feel a little better about life in general!

It’s also a great reason to invite someone new to join us this week!

Come on out to the 167 Side Room of the Marietta Brewing Company this Sunday, Nov. 24, and experience the benefits of gratitude!

Happy half-hour at 6:30pm, conversation starts at 7:00pm
