The central claim of Easter—“Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again”—can easily become one of those rote litanies we repeat without really considering its implications.
But what does that proclamation actually mean? And if we believe it’s true, how can we best live into it?
This week at New Wineskins we’ll mark the first Sunday after Easter with a video reflection featuring the thoughts of scientist, theologian, and Franciscan sister Ilia Delio which examine some of the assertions of the resurrection in light of the new creation it represents.
Please join us this Sunday, April 27, in the Virtual Theology Pub powered by Zoom for a conversation about why resurrection matters for us today and what we can do to embrace its power.
6:00pm ET: Happy Half-Hour (informal meet & greet time)
6:30pm ET: Presentation & conversation begin
