Nov. 6 Gathering: Process Theology and the Nature of Love

blue and purple sky with stars

What is the nature of love? And what might it tell us about the nature of the Divine?

Love means a lot of things to a lot of people. But far from being merely an emotional exchange, love is a power, a force, an energy that has the ability to transform lives and to continually recreate itself. It’s that notion that is central to many who embrace and practice Process Theology.

This week at New Wineskins we’ll continue our conversation on Process Theology with a video from professor, author, and Nazarene pastor Dr. Thomas Jay Oord titled, “God, Jesus, Love, and Hope.” Our discussion will center on what love does, what it doesn’t do, and—perhaps most interestingly—what love can’t do.

Scroll down for a special announcement about Dr. Oord and New Wineskins!

Join us this Sunday, Nov. 6, in our Virtual Theology Pub to be part of our conversation on the nature of love!
